Two dancers have made Strictly Come Dancing history, performing the first ever same-sex routine.
Graziano Di Prima, and Johannes Radebe, have made BBC history, with the first ever same-sex dance routine.
The pair performed on Sunday night’s results show, dancing to ‘Shine’ by Emeli Sande, who also performed alongside them.
After being praised for the game-changing dance, Graziana shared a touching tribute to his friendship with Joannes online.
Alongside photos of them on and off Strictly, Graziano wrote: “Our friendship is difficult to explain, we went through so many moments together that we can understand each other without saying a WORD… ‘As I say to you most of the time. You will be part of my life FOREVER… love you Johannes.
Johannes posted something similar on Instagram, with a photo of them standing side-by-side, writing the words, ‘Love knows no boundaries.’
Aside from delighting long-time fans of the show, the pair also received positive words from a number of celebrities. RuPaul’s Drag Race Star Courtney Act wrote: “Amazing dance boys! On behalf of young queer kids (and adults) everywhere – Thank you!.”
Last year’s winner, Stacey Dooley, wrote: “You two. I CAN’T,” while one of the contenders of this year’s series, Chris Ramsey, called them “absolute legends.”
