Rising Queer Pop Artist HERDD releases song and video about self-love for National Coming Out Day.

To celebrate National Coming Out Day (October 11th 2019), rising pop artist HERDD is set to release his brand new single ‘I Got You’ accompanied by a bold and unapologetically queer video.

Ask Canadian born, UK raised, queer pop artist HERDD who he is and he will likely show you the small, scribbled tattoo on his inner right wrist that reads only ‘I am HERDD’. Ask him what this means and he’ll explain that HERDD is a celebration of life and love and that through his music he feels heard. And the music stands as a testament to this.

It is unapologetic and proud, brimming with brash beats, grand vocal harmonies and hooky melodies that will have you humming for weeks to come. In prior musical projects, HERDD has played shows to crowds supporting major acts such as Example, Tinchy Stryder and the KaiserChiefs (DJSet), he’s performed at festivals such as Bestival and Blissfields and received national BBC Radio 1 airtime courtesy of DJ and supporter Rob Da Bank.

Featuring choreography from Sebastian ‘Bash’ Hirtenstein, who has danced with the likes of Ariana Grande and Bebe Rexha and garments designed by up-and-coming queer designer Kennie Mas, the video is a celebration of what it means to be yourself. A message that is close to artist HERDD’s heart.

The single is as much about my journey towards self-love as it is about my promise to stand with those persecuted for their identity,” explains HERDD.

‘I Got You’ will be released on all platforms on Friday October 11th 2019. The video will be simultaneously released on Youtube on this day.
